ABOUT LIPO LASER™

A low-level laser is applied on the outside of the skin.
It is a cold laser so there is no risk of burning
as there may be with other lasers & ultrasound devices which are fired under the skin.
Although there are now many different laser devices used with liposuction,

This office-based procedure effectively rids your body of stubborn pockets of fat.
Liposuction is done entirely under local anesthesia, avoiding the costs, risks,
and additional recovery necessary with general anesthesia.


HOW IT WORKS

First a numbing solution is spread inside the fatty tissue causing it to swell (the tumescent technique).
Then, fine microcannulas (long skinny suction tubes) enter the fatty areas through tiny punch holes in the skin and suction away the fat.

The fat is removed smoothly from targeted areas using a three-dimensional approach to sculpt your figure.  
Since you are awake, you are able to turn and rotate allowing a more thorough shaping process.

RECOVERY

You will be asked to take a long walk on the evening after the procedure. 
There is drainage for 24 -48 hours and you will wear absorbent pads under your garment.
Soreness lasts for days to weeks and feels like an intense muscle workout type discomfort.
Most clients return to work within 1 - 2 days. 
Exercise may resume within days according to tolerance. 
You will be asked to wear a special compression garment for about 3 weeks. 
Some swelling typically lasts for weeks and occasionally for months.
While you may shower the next day and anytime thereafter,
water submersion in a tub or pool is restricted for 6 weeks.
